As every year in this fashion show, we have once again been fascinated by the Haute Couture collection of Christian Dior, which was presented during the first day of this Fashion Week. As we told you in the previous post, it was inspired by the American dancer, singer and actress Josephine Baker, the first black woman to star in a film, a true icon of the 20s.
One of our favorite designs from this collection is the one that we will now show you and that is defined by glitter and glamor at its best. With a minimal line and neutral color, it describes through a fine and elegant fabric, which captivates with its movement, the sophistication of the woman of the roaring 20s adapted to the modern and current mentality. After an extensive debate, we have decided that, from the second day of the fashion shows of Haute Couture week in Paris, we will opt for one of the designs from the fashion show Armani Privé. Our beloved king of fashion, Giorgio Armani, has surprised us all with a parade where he has rendered tribute to the characters of the Commedia dell'Arte, as in the design that we are going to show you below.
Fantasy and the romantic spirit merge with the mocking and playwright figure of the harlequin. Geometric motifs, transparencies, precious stones and well-chosen textures so that the Italian theatricality of the XNUMXth century is the protagonist of the moment. A color palette in pastel and powdery tones that contrast with the black of the night. A diamond-patterned jacket and straight-cut pants that elegantly lengthen the silhouette. This dress, which we will now show you, has fascinated us because it conveys elegance and sobriety through the color black, the one that on numerous occasions we end up choosing to go to a party. An industrial building hosted the parade of Alexandre Vauthier. It was clear that his parade was going to surprise us and it did. Oversize lines, sequins, midi dresses, long coats, fluffy short jackets in caramel pink, pine green or black accompanied the models who walked the catwalk created in that concrete and brick environment. Amazing!
But now we are talking about the following design. pure fashion. In pristine black, with a lot of sobriety and elegance, this suit jacket delighted not only the lucky ones who were able to attend the parade in person, but also us. The maxi shoulder pads provide a structured XL silhouette to the woman, also giving an extra dose of drama to her look.

International Andalusian inspiration
And although we have left it for last, it is not because we liked it the least in this Haute Couture fashion show in Paris. On the contrary, it is that the good is made to wait. our Andalusian Juana Martin returned for the second consecutive year to this international fashion catwalk.
Your collection Origins it has impressed us all. Inspired by the cliffs of Nerja and with a flamenco air, she has paid tribute to our beloved Andalusia with absolute mastery. We take off our hats. With designs full of ruffles, textures, volumes and polka dots, tried to evoke the sea of the Malaga coast. And she totally got it.
The following dress is one of our favorites. It elegantly combines Andalusian roots through the contrast of black and white. The polka dots do not leave anyone indifferent and the leaf-shaped ornament merging with the setting seems more than ideal.
