First of all Angelica, thank you very much for wanting to be part of the pages of our blog, it is a pleasure for us. We know that the holidays are synonymous with good eating and I'm sure you will be especially busy. We would like to know what the holidays mean to you.
How are these holidays traditionally celebrated in your home?
Christmas is an excuse to remember that your friends and family are with you, and how nice it is to feel the warmth of affection. And for my mother it is a time to bring out her collection of more than 100 nativity scenes (whenever I go on a trip I always bring her one as a souvenir). As in most Spanish homes, Christmas is celebrated around the table.
Part of the liturgy is to cook with my mother that evening and as a tradition, I always organised the tray of nougat and sweets. Although on occasion I have exchanged all this for the bikini, when travelling in Australia.
Of course, another tradition are the gifts: those whims that only the Three Wise Men know how to get right. Gifts selected with care to make you vibrate in a special way.
And speaking of gifts, what role do they play for you?
Gifts have a special double importance: for the giver and for the receiver. The illusion of giving a gift and the surprised faces when you see that you have got it right are priceless. In addition, investigating beforehand what can bring a smile to the recipient's face, questioning in a disguised way, is great fun.
I like to give things and experiences that will last over time and I also really appreciate when I get gifts and how they have tried to find out what I would be looking forward to.
I remember a family tradition with affection and that is that in my grandparents' house, when we were little, we had special permission from the Three Wise Men, so that they would leave us a present on the 24th of December, on the way to see the baby Jesus, and when they returned from adoring him, they would leave us the rest of the presents.
We know you love jewellery, have you had the chance to write a letter to the Three Wise Men for you and your loved ones?
Of course! For my mother I have chosen a timeless classic, a short Riviere choker in white gold with diamonds.

For my partner, a sailing enthusiast, a Diver style sports watch that can be submerged as he is a sailing enthusiast. I have chosen the Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 600 M watch for its versatility.

For a friend I would choose earrings from the Lempick Collectiona. It is a super wearable collection in any of its versions but I prefer the Moritz earrings for their brilliants accompanying the rose gold, malachite and onyx.

For my nephew a youthful watch with an original style that does not go unnoticed. Bell and Ross is without a doubt a brand that more than fulfils this description. For him I have chosen the BR 03 Blue Steel, an automatic watch with a very modern dial.

And for me, who have been very good this year, these earrings from the Italian firm Nanis, elegant, perfect for every day. With the added bonus that if I feel like going longer, they are convertible by adding the gold links!

Thank you very much Angelica, We are very happy that you have shared your family's experiences of this very special time that is Christmas. We hope to see you soon and, in the meantime, we will continue to follow your gastronomic recommendations.
